The Magnificent Seven is one of the great Westerns. The film adapted Akira Kurasawa’s Seven Samauri with an all-star cast that included Yul Brynner (West World), Eli Wallach (The Good, The Bad and The Ugly), Steve McQueen (Junior Bonner), Charles Bronson (Once Upon A Time In The West), Robert Vaughn (The Man From U.N.C.L.E.), Horst Buchholz (Tiger Bay), Brad Dexter (Von Ryan’s Express) and James Coburn (Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid).
