The book opens with a one-page retelling of Madelyne Pryor aka the Goblin Queen’s life story.
She is a clone of Jean Grey, has loved both Summers brothers, mothered a child with one of them, only to have that child who would grow up to Cable denied her, and now she rules Limbo in pain over the past.
Madelyne Pryor wars with Jean Grey in Limbo with the latter surrendering to everyone’s surprise.
Jean Grey wants to heal hers and Madelyne Pryor’s longstanding wounds.
That process includes Jean sharing with Madelyne her memories with baby Cable.
The memories are cherished and now shared by both.
Looks like Madelyne may be turning over a new leaf as an X-Man?!
She plans to make amends to the Summers Brothers.
That includes teaming with the X-Men to conclude the Dark Web event in an upcoming book.

The Goblin Queen has turned face leaving Chasm as the remaining heel, with his girlfriend Hallows’ Eve, as the two lead antagonists left standing. A rollercoaster of emotions in this issue. 7 out of 10.
