Justice Society of America #2 Spoilers and Review.
The issue opens in November 1940 with the future’s Huntress, Helena Wayne the daughter of Batman and Catwoman, thrust in the past.
That powerful snow globe travelled with her through time and likely enabled the time travel.
She wakes and meets the Justice Society as they are forming.
Catwoman sent Huntress back in time to fine Doctor Fate to help with the future threat of time travel villain Per Degaton.
We also get a tease of the mysterious Legionnaire who appears to be someone from the Legion of Super-Heroes far future who joined the JSA back in the day.
Doctor Fate is attempts to peer into Huntress’ timeline and is thrust one year into his future.
Looks like in 1941 Doctor Fate gets an apprentice in the form of Salem Girl.
She is aided by her sentient broomstick Sweep in the same way the modern day Stargirl is aided by her seemingly sentient Cosmic Staff.
In this 1941 moment, Solomon Grundy is battling the Golden Age Mister Miracle.
During the battle Doctor Fate is pulled back to 1940 from 1941.
It appears that despite being pulled to and back from the year ahead, Doctor Fate is blocked from seeing Huntress’ timeline.
A future where 10 years from modern day, so 2023, a young Huntress is being talked to at school over seemingly making up stories about someone watching her.
However, in 2049, 26 years from now, her mother Catwoman finally believes her.
The stalker of the Dark Knight Daughter was Per Degaton.
Who teases a world for the Huntress where both her parents are dead.
We then pivot again through time.
Thet snow globe sends the Huntress through time again.
She appears in land in 2023 among the Justice League Dark?
Next Up.
