Stargirl: The Lost Children #3 Spoilers and Review.
The book opens with Stargirl on the run with some of the Lost Children sidekicks.
Red Arrow has been captured by the island’s jailer Childminder.
Dyna-Mite, Cherry Bomb and Wing introduce Stargirl to the Lost Children many of whom are part of the previously removed from time characters called The Thirteen (which includes Cherry Bomb [1]).
Stargirl first meets the Blue Boys and Little Red Head as well as the Newsboy Legion plus Tick-Tock.
Then we move onto The Thirteen including Tick Tock [2], John Henry Jr [3], Molly Pitcher [4] and Besty Ross [5] as well as Lady Bug [6].
Then we meet Salem [7] and her sentient weapon Sweep in addition to Quiz Kid. [8]
So, that’s Eight of the Thirteen so far.
Then Corky Baxter, of the Time Masters, flickers onto the scene telling the Lost Children that he can free them as we lear that someone else has been taunting them over the years with the same promise.
It also would appear that the Island may be outside of time as Childminder battles Red Arrow and seems to indicate she not her enemy.
Childminder teases a “he” coming to the island as she makes Red Arrow forget about her and the recent skirmish.
The book ends with the reveal of the issue’s ninth member of the Thirteen namely Boom [9] (the remaining Four are revealed here with their Who’s Who in the DC Universe biographies).
The Pulse.
Another high-octane issue with lots of action and intrigue. Amazing art. 8 out of 10.
