This past weekend’s WWE Money in the Bank premium live event (PLE) match card included 3 championship matches.

…Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez def. Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships from Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler to recapture the gold that they were never defeated for.

The champions looked like they were going to retain after Baszler countered Morgan’s attempt at Oblivion, but after Rousey tagged in, Baszler snapped and ruthlessly attacked her tag team partner.

After Baszler left, Rousey was a sitting duck. Following a Texana Bomb from Rodriguez, Morgan nailed Oblivion as she and Rodriguez once again became WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions…

This outcome may not have been unexpected as Rousey had been strongly rumored to be taking some time off from WWE.

In addition, new MITB winners were crowned in the Men’s match and the Women’s match.

Not heavy fan favorite LA Knight as Mr. MITB 2023, but the Judgment Day’s Damian Priest as “Señor Money In the Bank”.

The MITB brief case proved elusive for Becky Lynch as Damage Control’s Iyo Sky won the match after handcuffing her partner Bayley to Lynch to the ladder.
