Insomnia Ravages Justice League Dark (JLD), Royal Flush Gang and More!
Spoilers For Knight Terrors: Superman #1, Knight Terrors: Wonder Woman #1, Knight Terrors: Nightwing #1, Knight Terrors: Catwoman #1 and Knight Terrors: Punchline #1!

Let’s see how Knight Terrors week 3 unfolds below.
Knight Terrors: Superman #1 Spoilers.
In this issue Superman and his supporting characters are consumed by the Nightmare Wave.
The Justice League as well.
Interestingly, in an issue that should put Superman in a nightmare, we see his first dream is that the world is “saved forever” not needing super-hero help.
However, Superman quickly realizes all is not as it seems.
That’s when Insomnia reveals himself on his mission to find the Nightmare Stone.
Then we see Superman’s nightmare personified tell him that he was meant to be a catastrophic bullet from Krypton meant to destroy the Earth by cleaving it in two?!
Supergirl, Superman’s cousin, seemingly is able to enter his dream by punching through the “wall” separating their dreams.
That makes the all of Supergirl’s previous iterations, as nightmares, who were chasing her their new collective threat.
In the waking world, for some reason the Aquaman family has not be impacted by the Nightmare Wave, and they may be the key to not only saving Superman, but perhaps everyone on Earth.
Knight Terrors: Wonder Woman #1 Spoilers.
In this issue, Wonder Woman and the Justice League Dark (JLD) seemingly are in a shared nightmare.
They are hunted by all manner of their biggest nightmares.
One in particular proves painful for Wonder Woman to end the issue.
The back-up story focuses on Nubia the Queen of the Amazons.
She and the Amazons have been thrown into their nightmares too including a macabre Gaia, Mother Earth, the end the issue.
No real Insomnia sighting the title.
Knight Terrors: Nightwing #1 Spoilers.
In this issue, Nightwing’s nightmare appears to be being trapped in Arkham Asylum.
An Arkham Asylum full of Batman and his rogues gallery.
We do get a fleeting Insomnia cameo as Nightwing grapples with his mind within this nightmare.
Adding to the tension, the the physicians who were torturing him unmask.
It’s his deceased parents the Flying Graysons.
Insomnia gets more than a fleeting appearance next as he confronts Nightwing.
The issue begins to end with the nightmare that Nightwing killed Batman.
While Batgirl is revealed to be some kind of insane cyborg creature also in Arkham Asylum.
Knight Terrors: Catwoman #1 Spoilers.
This issue’s nightmares are quite personal in nature.
Involving Catwoman’s sister who is a nun.
As well as an injured and recovering Batman.
Knight Terrors: Punchline #1 Spoilers.
Newbie Punchline get her own series as well.
She’s aligned with the Royal Flush Gang who have a cool new look, but still evoking their classic depiction.
Batgirl confronts them.
However, Punchline kills Batgirl!
As nightmares go, confused how this is not a wish fulfilment dream, but things do get dark as the book continues.
Punchline steals Batgirl’s motorcycle and heads to her lair.
I don’t think Punchline knows where that lair is in the waking world, so I’m assuming that the motorcycle had some tech in it to guide her here.
Punchline is then confronted by zombie Batgirl!
I guess this is Punchline’s nightmare part as zombie Batgirl devolves!
A zombie cyborg Batgirl now is Punchline’s big threat.
Week 4 of Knight Terrors, and the last issues of month one of the two month event, is out next week.
