X-Men #25 Spoilers and Review.
The events of X-Men: Hellfire Gala 2023 #1 (full spoilers here) has caused the Fall of X.
The over-sized milestone issues of X-Men #25 begins to explain what the Fall of X means for mutants.
As well as humanity with Orchis having direct access to the President of the United States.
That includes Feilong as well as Doctor Stasis being the power brokers if not the actual powers themselves in this new status quo.
In fact, while Feilong meets with the President, Doctor Stasis tortures Cyclops whose eyes have been shown shut presumably negating his eye blast powers.
Elsewhere still, with Stark Sentinels overhead – the red and yellow ones as well as War Machine versions – who are left of the X-Men congregate in the sewers Morlock style.
Shadowkat is more adult ninja than her previous happy and innocent younger self.
We see what has happened away from Earth during Fall of X.
As the Krakoan Gates, that only Shadowkat can use now, despite being tampered with by Orchis, can use.
We also see other series set-up.
Such as the Cable and Bishop centric Children of the Vault limited series.
A disguised Emma Frost takes Kamala Khan back to her home.
Frost has made sure that her family and even officials in the Coroner’s Office do not remember she passed away (and then was reborn revealing Ms. Marvel is both Inhuman and mutant).
The Uncanny Avengers, the unity squad of X-Men and Avengers, also reform for their own limited series.
We then learn what happened right after the end of the X-Men: Hellfire Gala 2023 #1 one-shot where Shadowkat fell through a Krakoan Gate after NEVER being able to use it/them before.
It results in a bloodbath.
Kitty Pryde murders all the Orchis agents some in gruesome fashion using her phasing powers.
That was 10 weeks ago.
Kitty Pryde as Shadowkat (with a k for copyright reasons likely) seems to be hunting mutant traitor Firestar who, unknown to the X-Men, as actually their mole Orchis.
