The cat’s out of the bag! Everyone at Snowflame’s auction is there for the same thing: the list. But what is the market value of a list containing all the intel the world’s greatest crime-fighters have on super-villains? And who exactly is on the list? You’ll have to ask Catwoman to find out.
Catwoman #23 Spoilers and Review.
In the Amazon Selina Kyle is on a mission.
That mission comes to her in the form of Snowflame.
He’s now has 1/2 an alter ego with the first name Stefan.
He is still a cocaine addict and a drug kingpin.
He also dabbles in other interesting items to villainy and has an auction set up with many super-villains in attendance.
Snowflame brags about or hypes auction items including:
- The Talisman of Arok the Magnificent
- A Gorilla City artifact
- Lazarus Pit water in an unrevealed vessel
- The Codpiece Cannon
- A Decoy White Lantern Ring
He also has what was brought all the super-villains to this auction: The List – allegedly containing all the intel the super-heroes have of the super-villains in attendance and likely others.
Catwoman #24 Spoilers and Review.
The auction get underway in the next issue.
However, the lights go out during the proceedings.
This spooks the super-villains thinking the super-heroes or others is after them.
Accelerating the auction of the Codpiece Cannon doesn’t entice the super-villains to stay as Catwoman does her burglary thing.
Stefan knows she’s behind the darkening of the auction and that she is after something presumably The List.
Stefan goes looking for Selina as his team looks for the panther on the loose in the compound.
Stefan powers up with a bag of blow.
That means a transformed Snowflame is now opposite Catwoman.
Catwoman blows some downers or something that will get Snowflame off his cocaine high.
He alleges that even no longer high that he’ll be super-powered, but invulnerability isn’t in the mix as Catwoman leaves Snowflame at the mercy of the loose panther.
Collected Edition.
These issues are part of the trade paperback titled Catwoman: Come Home, Alley Cat that was released in February 21, 2021.
This collected edition includes Collects Catwoman #14-15 and #22-28.
The Pulse.
Doubling his appearance to two issues in 2020 from one issue in 1988 (full spoilers here) doesn’t make Snowflame are more compelling or formidable villain. He’s actually played more for laughs and to evoke the 1980s culture in this two-issue story. Still a so-so story, but solid art. 4 out of 10.
