Former WCW Tag Team Champions Harlem Heat will be reuniting on a show in February.
Booker T & Stevie Ray, who held the WCW Tag Team Titles a record 10 times between 1994 and 1999 will be in the ring together for the first time in about 15 years. Booker T (49) and Stevie Ray (55) are real life brothers but Stevie Ray was never brought on by WWE.
The match will be on Booker T’s promotion – Reality of Wrestling – against the New Jersey-based Heavenly Bodies on February 21, 2015.
Booker T was also added back to the full time announce team on Monday Night Raw. WWE officials are hoping he will be a more aggressive positive voice to tangle with JBL. Lawler was too passive and not strong enough and was often overpowered by JBL’s strong commentary style, and many felt Booker T was more up to the task.
