– At the Smackdown house show in Ft. Myers, Florida tonight, WWE US Champion Carlito Caribbean Cool was apparently injured during a match with Bob Holly, after taking a bad spill out of the ring onto his shoulder. He left the arena with his left arm in a sling.

– TNA and 1Wrestling.com’s Bob Ryder has reported that Hulk Hogan was backstage at Victory Road “conferring with TNA Officials.” He did not appear on the show.

– TNA officials are hoping the PPV did well with hopes that the “Best Damn Sports Show Period” ratings this week are good, and FSN will then look to put them in a prime-time slot.

– Yesterday’s TNA Interaction event in Orlando has gotten rave reviews, especially due to accses to superstars.

– Jeff Jarrett said that it’s too early to talk with the recently released WWE talent, but when they can, “We are eager to speak with all of them and sign all of them.”

– Chad Collyer of the Elite Guard is no longer under contract to TNA, after asking for – and being granted – a release.

– The Times of India has a big story on Sonjay Dutt.

– PWInsider.com, prior to the show, broke the story that Savage, Snuka, Jacqueline, Hall and Nash would all appear on tonight’s show, and that DDP is interested in doing something down the line. WrestlingObserver.com reported that Sting had had talks with TNA, but they fell through at the last minute.
