My favourite contestant on American Idol this season was Haley Reinhart. Initially predicted to not finish close to the finals, Haley grew tremendously and threatened to win the entire competition finally finishing in third place. Combining spectacular looks with her signature-sounding raspy voice, Haley became a full-fledged star on the show. At the Live! Tour, I talked to Haley about how much of a role looks play on the show, give her an amazing Tony Bennett/Bennie & The Jets segue, and wish her a happy birthday while also telling her about last year’s tour when last season’s Idols sang me happy birthday.
