Maguire joins talented ensemble for Reitman’s next film.
Tobey Maguire looks to be the last piece of the casting puzzle for Jason Reitman’s upcoming film Labor Day, based on the Joyce Maynard book.
The story centers on a thirteen-year-old boy, Henry, from New Hampshire who learns valuable life lessons over a five-day Labor Day weekend. Maguire will play the boy as an adult, and will also serve as the film’s narrator.
Maguire joins the already announced cast of Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin, J.K. Simmons, Brooke Smith, Gattlin Griffith, and Brighid Fleming.
