The latest edition of Coachcast is up on WWE.com, as is a transcript. Coach interviews Edge in the segment, which can be found here, and asks him when he’s planning to cash in the Money in the Bank.

Also on WWE.com, Chris Jericho is interviewed about Taboo Tuesday and how he’d show up if the fans voted him into a match. Here’s the interview.

Finally, Coach and King were the guests on ByteThis! Some highlights of the show, which seemed to interview Coach & King in and out of character:

– Coach, live in the studio, put over JR as a great play by play man
– Coach said the phones are open in case Dave Scherer or any Internet columns that have been complaining want to call in; and hinted that some sites have offered JR a job and JR will be fine finding work
– Coach said JR wasn’t happy backstage and never helped him learn
– He said he didn’t like the way he was let go
– Coach called JR a “handicapped announcer”
– Grisham hinted at a Matt Hardy like groundswell to bring JR back and Coach said he’d welcome him back but it’s time to move on
– King called in and was melancholy about JR’s firing
– King said he’s getting a ton of email, one person in particular who said HE should have been fired
– Coach and King say that even if they aren’t great play by play men, knowing all the moves, etc., they have to remember they’re doing TV, and the picture speaks for itself, and you have to tell a story to the viewers watching, those who missed last week, etc. The wrestlers are the stars, not the announcers (and King reinforced that JR never tried to put himself over)
– They put over JR’s emotion
– They talked about how Bill Madden isn’t the prettiest announcer
– King equated WWE shows taking place in someone’s hometown to the Sports Illustrated cover curse, and how you’re always made to look bad in your hometown, which happened to JR in OK a lot. But the way this went down was hurtful.
– King said he spoke with JR and he’s got other irons in the fire, and was a lot more upbeat than he would have been.
– Coach closed by saying he’ll give it everything he has, he’ll entertain, and if you don’t like it, tough. “I’ll talk, you’ll listen, and then you’ll complain about it.”
– They showed clips of the McMahons firing JR, and JR’s speech that appeared on WWE.com after RAW went off the air.
– It ended with Orlando Jordan cutting a promo on Chris Benoit and how he’s tapped out to the crossface so many times, he now knows all the counter moves to the crossface. He said if he taps out to the crossface again, he’ll quit the business.
