1600s Viking Batman Makes For A Bloody Christmas In 2019?!

Plus Batman: Pennyworth RIP!

We open in the past…

…in 1639 and a Norse Batman in the Township of Gothame.

We then pivot to modern day…

…where Batman still grapples with the death of his surrogate father and ally Alfred Pennyworth.

We then move into a new gory mystery…

…with a huge symbol around the Christmas Tree of death that…

…appears Norse in nature.

The book ends with Batman’s alter ego Bruce Wayne overseeing a Christmas Tree lighting in Gotham City…

…crashed by that 1600s Batman?! He exclaims something that appears to be Norse for Christmas or somesuch.

An actual Batman: Pennyworth RIP #1 one-shot hits stands on February 20, 2020.
