DC Comics and Wonder Woman #770 Spoilers and Review follows.
Can A Never-Ending Battle End…
…In Asgard?!
Wonder Woman wakes up…
…in the midst of battle and…
…dies.
Fortunately for her, she gets resurrected in Valhalla…
…with her ally Siegfried.
Then, later, they are back to battle…
…where Wonder Woman dies and…
…is resurrected again, but without Siegfried.
She tracks him down and he seems to be actually dying with no resurrection to lean back on?
The back-up tale is…
…a Young Diana tale from Wonder Woman was a young girl.
The Pulse:
An intriguing opening story, but the back-up was not by cup-of-tea based on the art mostly. Bringing a Grecian goddess to the Norse pantheon was interesting. It was a compelling opening story that resisted the urge to bring in DC’s Thor. Solid art on that story too. The back-up had a fun story, but the art just was too cartoony for me. On the strength of the opening story, I give this book 7 out of 10.
