We have a new World Champion in Ring of Honor since last night in Edison, Nigel McGuinness defeated Takeshi Morishima with a Jawbreaker Lariat. Check my review of the event here.
Mitsuharu Misawa’s NYC opponent will be KENTA on 11/3, which is being billed as a first time ever match. It isn’t; they faced each other in ’04. This will be for the GHC title and Joe Higuchi will be in attendence to referee the historic match. That leaves Misawa facing zero American opponents on his trip. A strange choice to say the least.
The legendary Harley Race will also be in attendance at the 11/3 show. It’ll be great to see Race!
