Jason Powell at Prowrestling.net has the scoop on an interesting “story making the rounds in the WWE locker room” regarding Jeff Hardy’s arrest.
The story goes: Jeff was sent a package from someone outside North Carolina “who had expressed interest in doing business with him.” He brought the package inside, not knowing what it was, and “police officials were on the scene to conduct the raid.”
This is of course merely a story going around the locker room – as of now no one publicly has said anything about what really happened, and maybe we’ll find out more around the time Jeff’s November court date rolls around. Powell is reporting that “Jeff is said to be in much better spirits” now vs. when he was arrested, at which time he thought the worst.
