Oscar Winner Russell Crowe Reportedly Made Death Threat to Producer During Filming of Gladiator Over Pay For His Assistants

According to Digital Spy, “a new book alleges that the actor threatened to kill producer Branko Lustig in a dispute over pay for his assistants.”

The story goes on to say:

“The star also reportedly had a problem delivering his now famous line, “I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next”, and had to be convinced to say it by director Ridley Scott.

“Convinced it was poorly written, Crowe is reported to have eventually relented saying: ‘I’m the greatest actor in the world and I can make even s**t sound good’.”
