Jim Ross Blog: Undertaker And Lesnar Bleeding At HiaC, Lucha Underground 2, Sara Del Rey, Ronda Rousey

News

In his latest blog, Jim Ross gives his thoughts on Undertaker and Lesnar bleeding at th Hell in a Cell PPV, the second season of Lucha underground, Sara Del Rey and Ronda Rousey as Diva champion:

On The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar bleeding at HIAC:

“It’s hard to believe that some wrestling pundits actually believe that Brock Lesnar and Undertaker went into business for themselves and kept everyone in WWE, including the chairman, in the dark about their use of blood in their HIAC match. How the blood was derived may be another issue but the two talents taking matters into their own hands without approval isn’t too likely to have occurred. Their match was the best bout on the show Sunday in LA.”

Lucha Underground Season 2:

“When I met with the Lucha Underground folks many moons ago they expressed a desire to create a breakout star and to take that star and his TV persona to the big screen IE films. Their concept for their TV show is unique and I’m anxious to watch their new season when it debuts on the El Rey Network.”

On Sara Del Rey:

“Sara Del Rey also deserves much credit for the coaching that she does with her group of women and others that she helps. Sara is a gem within the WWE coaching staff which does a really solid job from top to bottom.”

On Ronda Rousey as Divas Champion and working WM32:

“Ronda Rousey and her camp, influenced by The Rock, are strategic in their thinking. Rousey has a huge payday awaiting her for a Wrestlemania storyline down the road and they know it. No one ever makes too much money plus RR knows that she can’t be unbreakable forever inside the Octagon. It was timely of Charlotte to stand her ground and respond to Ronda recently but I would rather see RR versus a heel specifically Stephanie McMahon as I feel that’s the money. Plus, do you really want Ronda Rousey going for the WWE Divas Title? Is Rousey a Diva? Is the term Diva still relevant? In any event, Ronda Rousey in a hot, personal issue interests me more than her going for the title at this time. The question is can Rousey and WWE come together for something BIG for the Texas WrestleMania? Could the wind be kicking up a major deal for both Rousey and The Rock for April in Dallas?”

I've been following wrestling for almost 30 years now, and the metal scene for even longer. And let's just say that all that head-banging has left me with some weird ideas that i will share with you from time to time. Aren't you glad?
