In kind of a surprising move, Ray “Big Bossman” Traylor will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a part of the 2016 class. Not surprising because of merit, but because normally they shy away from having more than one deceased wrestler in the Hall per year and Terry Gordy is already going in as a part of the Freebirds.
Although WWE is only inducting the character of Big Bossman (who apparently didn’t exist between his departure from the WWF in 1992 and reemergence there in 1998), my own memories of Traylor are more of his early days in the NWA.
