The World Title is in serious jeopardy this Saturday and James Gibson might not make it past his first defense. Gibson will be faced with two enemies in an Elimination Three-Way as he takes on Spanky and Homicide. It is no secret that Gibson and Spanky’s time is limited in ROH so this could be your last chance to see them perform with no limits. Spanky insists that Gibson and CM Punk both got their shot holding the belt before they left and now this ROH founding father wants his opportunity. He has gone so far as to ruin his friendship with Gibson by superkicking him before hitting him with Sliced Bread #2 last week in Chicago. Homicide has pinned Gibson on recent shows after low blows and using the chain. Can Homicide do it again and win the World Title or will Gibson get a measure of revenge? Things are sure to be athletic and intense in this World Title match.
Colt Cabana has sent warning that Nigel McGuinness better be ready for anything this Saturday in Morristown. ROH officials told both men that this feud will end at the Mennan Sports Arena and no rematch will be signed. Both men have to get all their aggressions out against each other on Saturday. The loser will have to live with the fact that he lost the feud. Cabana will name the stipulation of this match at the show. There is no telling what he has in mind.
AJ Styles looks doubtful for Saturday’s show. Roderick Strong actually hopes that Styles is unable to make it because he wants to get back in the ring with Alex Shelley & Jimmy Rave. Strong says for the first time there is going to be anger fueling his vicious chops.
