So, is Hulk Hogan actually planning to grow out the black beard and join forces with former nWo stable-mates Kevin Nash and Scott Hall?
According to a report at PWTorch.com of Hulk Hogan’s call into the Bubba The Love Sponge radio show on Sirius Howard 101 Thursday afternoon, Hogan wants to return to WWE and be at the Royal Rumble and even Survivor Series if he can.
Calling in live from WWE’s Stamford, CT headquarters, Hogan said Vince was late for the meeting, so he was calling from Vince’s office, WWE cameras on him the whole time. The meeting was planned to discuss potential upcoming storylines, as well as how Vince can help Hulk promote Brooke Hogan’s album, which is available in stores next week.
Of course, Bubba asked Hogan about a possible Wrestlemania 23 match vs. Steve Austin. Hogan said he’d get all the cheers even if booked as a heel, but he would do “what’s best for business” (the latter an answer to if he would agree to lose to Austin). This match has been rumored forever, and is unlikely at the moment.
Hogan did the Vince McMahon “YOU’RE FIRED!” and at the end of the call as Vince walked in.
