Kurt’s Return, Plus TNA & UFC

News

According to WrestlingObserver.com, Samoa Joe, Christian Cage, Johnny Devine, Gail Kim and Chase Stevens were seen at Tuesday night’s UFC show, with Joe and maybe others attending Tito Ortiz’ afterparty.

In other TNA news, PWInsider reports that Kurt Angle’s interview, airing tonight on iMPACT!, has been described by those who saw it as very intense and negative with regards to WWE and Vince McMahon. It was taped Monday before the two weeks of iMPACT! were recorded.

Also from PWInsider, Angle came to the taping alone and spent a lot of time with the other TNA workers (something he didn’t do when coming to ECW). Overall, morale was up despite common worries from some TNA stars about losing TV time to the new blood. Additionally, Angle’s participation in the show led to a higher-than-usual turnout at the TV tapings (which are free, but usually rely on walk-up attendance based on weather and typical Universal parkgoers).
