~ The teaser poster fro Hostel II that will be seen in U.S. theatres has been approved by the MPAA and it somewhat surprises me. The film is set to be released in theatres on June 8 of next year and now takes 3 girls who learn the horrible things that go on when staying at foreign hostels.
~ Bloody-Disgusting has put up two more horror movie previews for big name studios:
Some really great looking flicks coming from these two studios as 2007 is shaping up to be a great year for the horror movie.
~ Supposedly the 10 year old version of Michael Myers has been cast in Rob Zombie’s re-imagining of the great film Halloween. Rumor has it that Daeg Faerch (Waiting Room, Freakshow) is going to play Michael as a young boy perhaps explaining why he turned out the way he did later on in life. I’ve never heard of the kid, but he surely looks like somebody that Zombie would cast in any of his movies.
This is strictly rumor though, so take it with a grain of salt and I’ll update as soon as I find out more.
UPDATE: Rob Zombie has now confirmed that Daeg Faerch will be playing Michael Myers at the age of 10, when he was first committed to a mental institution.
