18 Vicodins to get out of bed. Krazy Kurt is back!
Usually wrestlers save being crazy for after retirement. Kurt was on the Scotty Ferrall show os Sirrius Satellite radio (yeah, the same Scotty Ferrall that used to host Battle Dome) and had some choice things to say:
- Kurt used to take 65 Vicodins a day, including 18 just to get out of bed.
- He told a story about Eddie, saying that Eddie once tried to shoot on him, but wound up in a rear naked choke. Eddie’s reason for doing so? “Cause I’m f*cking stupid.”
- Claimed that his match with Christian tonight will be match of the year.
- He’s got a 4.5 40 yard dash
- He’s got a 44″ vertical leap
- He’s making more money in TNA than he did in the WWE and when he was in the WWE he was making $2.5 to $3 million dollars annually.
- He’s seen Trish Stratus naked
- Triple H is still a slimeball for not putting Kurt over
- Hes negotiating with EXC for a deal
- Spike wants him in UFC, but Dana White doesn’t want him if he’s going to keep wrestling
- He can beat anyone in MMA since has superior quickness
- He wants to fight three MMA fights before he turns 40
- A special weight class for him because he’s probably to big to fight at 205

You folks know as much as about the status of Hulk Hogan as do I. I don’t regularly converse with the Hulkster and whatever he says on his various radio appearances is what it is as I see it. I heard he was going to have knee surgery which I hope goes well, but I don’t see Hogan wrestling an ambitious schedule for anyone at anytime ever again. How fans could expect a man north of 50 to be as active as he was when he was younger is beyond me, especially an athlete with his fair share of injuries and surgeries.

I also want to take this time to announce my running for office in the State of Texas. That’s right, I am running for office. I am not sure yet whether it will be senator or governor. I preach all the time about inept politicians (both sides of the aisle), and how they are not doing what is good for America that I need to do something about it.

Tommy Dreamer blogs
Tommy Dreamer has an “Extreme Commentary” about Doug Gentry, the guy who started the ECW fan cam and really went out of his way for ECW. He even took a chokeslam from 911. Gentry was the guy who recommended Masato Tanaka, Super Crazy and Yoshihiro Tajiri to ECW as well. Read it here.
Francine will not be a part of WSX
Georgie M (I cannot and will not try and spell her last name) who is very respected in the wrestling business and has a website of her own (although the name of it fails me right now, sorry Georgie!) called me a couple of weeks ago and asked me if I was interested in being a part of WSX. She said that they were very interested in using me and that they wanted to fly me to Cali on February 16th to discuss me being used in the future. I told her that I was not available to go on the 16th and she then asked me if I was at all interested and if she could pass my phone number onto the higher ups in WSX. I told her that I wasn’t interested because I am planning on getting married in the near future and I have since retired from being a “full time” wrestling personality. I want to eventually start a family and just be “normal” again. I appriciated her calling me and thanked her and WSX for their interest.

Christian Cage was interviewed at IGN Sports… Johnny Damon’s chairshot on Dale Torborg made Sportscenter… A new database launched for indie wrestlers here… Captain Lou Albano will be on Cablevision’s “Sports Scene” show on Tuesday night. It will air at 4, 5:30 and 10pm both Tuesday and Thursday in Poughkeepsie, NY, and come from Albano’s Carmel, NY, home… On Monday Night Mayhem, Raven said that Vince McMahon created ECW to destroy the old ECW legacy because he hated that fans chanted “ECW” at events without Vince wanting them to… Pro Wrestling Insider says USA Network will cross-promote Psych with RAW by having the actors appear in character on the wrestling show… and finally, Matt Hardy’s latest blog entry talks about the first indie show he promoted over a decade ago.
