WWE is on the lookout for more Hispanic wrestlers as it prepares to run more shows in Central and Southern America. Damian 666 had a try-out in Los Angeles recently after getting a recommendation from Rey Mysterio. There are also rumours that Televisa in Mexico wants to sign a deal with WWE that would move their PPV events from free TV to actual PPV on Sky, plus giving them national network coverage on a station like Mexicano or Unicable. WWE lost TV in Mexico City recently when Canal 52MX lost its cable access in the market.

The TNA World X Cup teams are currently… Team Mexico – Volador Jr, Ultimo Guerrero, Rey Bucanero, Averno; Team USA – Curry Man, Kaz, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley; Team Japan – Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino, Milano Collection A.T., Taichi Ishikari; Team International – Alex Kozlov, Shawn Daivari, Tyson Dux, Doug Williams. It is not definite that Williams has his visa cleared in time to wrestle for TNA, so they are doing a match in Liverpool between him and Sonjay Dutt on the 13th June with the team spot on the line in case he has to be replaced.

A fan ran into the ring during the 27 May Smackdown tapings in Colorado Springs. He threw some punches at Hawkins & Ryder before Bam Neely punched him and security removed him.

Former Edmonton Sun writer Scott Zerr had been working with Chris Benoit on a potential autobiography. Zerr is planning to release a book about Benoit taken from the notes of their discussions.

Triple H will be appearing in Lemmy The Movie, a documentary about Motorhead.

Random trivia – Nunzio last won a match on 27 September 2005, teaming with Big Vito to beat Paul London & Brian Kendrick on Velocity. His last singles victory was on 20 August 2005, beating Chance Thomson, also on Velocity.

Consequences Creed graduated from Furman University last week with a BA in psychology and a minor in philosophy. George Bush was the speaker at the graduation ceremony.
