Updates on TNA Death, Kurt Angle Injuries & UK Tour

News

The Commercial Appeal has details on the accidental TNA worker death, identifying the deceased as Kevin Sinex, 45, of Windemere, FL. Our condolences go out to his loved ones, and according to PWInsider.com, prior to Monday’s taping, TNA held a company-wide meeting that included a moment of silence… and wore armbands in his honor. There was also talk of doing something to help the family.

PWInsider.com also reprots that some key members of TNA management weren’t at the meeting since they flew to the UK in advance of this weekend’s tour. Prowrestling.net reports that Dixie Carter was among the missing, as she was at the PPV but then flew ahead of the rest to be in the UK for the company’s first tour there.

Prowrestling.net also reports that Scott D’Amore asked to get upgraded to business class for the flight overseas, which got him some heat, and that there’s no word on what Kurt Angle will do regarding matches in the UK. Aside from his most recent neck injury – not helped by an unplanned spot in his match with AJ Styles where AJ’s legs landed on his neck – he is also nursing a knee injury.
