J.R.’s pre-No Way Out blog went up yesterday. Here are some highlights if you missed it.
On the up and coming talent in FCW- FCW has a roster dotted with famous names like Brisco, Rotunda, DiBiase, Hennig, Darsow, among others all of whom have a chance at making their families proud of their pro wrestling accomplishments. If this group isn’t rushed, they have the chance to be one of the best groups the WWE has trained. (He also put over Sheamus O’ Shaunessy, a man who certainly has the most Irish name ever.)
On Jeff Hardy’s promo on the last Smackdown- I liked the production values used in Jeff Hardy’s in-ring promo Friday night and the fact that Jeff said what he had to say, made one or two main points and got the hell out. (He goes on to say that the previous generation of wrestlers is better at delivering in ring promos than this one.)
He even gets his fantasy booker on by revealing the matches he wants play in the upcoming Legends of Wrestlemania video game, which includes some common dream matches (Andre vs. ‘Taker, HBK vs. the Rock) and one I’d certainly never tought of (Perfect and Rude vs. Bret and Stone Cold).
In his now regular MMA section, he even shares some thoughts on what the future could hold for a former WWE Champ in the sport-Former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar can
be like the great Muhammad Ali and have people pay big bucks to see him get his ass whipped by a pure MMA fighter while laughing all the way to the bank.
He also talks about the Hall of Fame, Austin, the Savage DVD, Legends Roundtables, 24/7, booking for ‘Mania and beyond, and a lot more. Including this:
There should be a rule that all the wrestling websites that use our content as the sole source of a column should be kind enough to buy a bottle of JR’s Original BBQ Sauce or at the very lest some 97% Fat Free Beef Jerky.
Looks like I’m gonna owe that man some jerky, at the very least.
