TNA has decided to hold almost all of their PPVs in Orlando as a cost-cutting measure. The only one remaining this year to be held elsewhere will be Bound For Glory, which will be in a 5,000 seat gym in Irvine, CA, on October 18th. Their other PPV dates are July 19th, August 16th, September 20th, November 15th and December 20th. The December date will be head-to-head with a WWE Smackdown & ECW TV taping held at the Amway Arena in Orlando (WWE is taping on a Sunday that week due to the holidays). The August date is the only one that will be the day after a UFC PPV, which is something TNA strives to avoid. TNA will also revise their Impact taping schedule from August onwards. The current plan of taping four shows in three days after the PPV has caused a lot of continuity problems for the creative team. They will tape two shows the week after the PPV, then do the rest of the month’s Impact a couple of weeks later.
