ABC picked up the Alyssa Milano comedy pilot Romantically Challenged for midseason of the 2009/2010 TV season.
The show was created by Ricky Blitt and has been given the green light for 13 episodes.
Romantically Challenged centers on a guy who finds himself caught in the middle of a battle of wills between his new girlfriend (Milano) and his needy best friend (Kyle Bornheimer). The cast also includes Kelly Stables (Greek) as Milano’s younger sister.
Eric Christian Olsen did play the main male role in the pilot, but he likely won’t be in the series long-term.
