Singer recently discussed the possibility of returning to the lucrative X-Men franchise with 20th Century Fox.

After making the cult hit and Oscar-winning Usual Suspects, Singer launched the franchise with X-Men and X2: X-Men United, but passed on the third installment to make Superman Returns when Fox waited to long to greenlight the project.

“I’m still looking to possibly returning to the X-Men franchise. I’ve been talking to Fox about it,” Singer said at South Korea’s Pusan International Film Festival.

“I love Hugh Jackman. I love the cast,” he added.

With many X-films in the near future including X-Men: First Class, the Deadpool spin-off as well as a Wolverine sequel, Singer will certainly have his choice of projects.
