CNN.com is reporting that Hulk Hogan writes in his new book that he considered taking his own life when he “hit rock bottom”, after his son Nick caused a car accident that killed his best friend and the breakup of his marriage. Hogan says that he begged his wife not to leave him but she wouldn’t listen.
Hogan credits Laila Ali, the daughter of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, with saving his life. Ali, a boxer, appeared with Hogan on American Gladiators and noticed something was not right with him. According to Hogan, he took a cocktail of Xanax and rum and was reaching for a gun when Ali called, a call that apparently saved his life.
So if Hogan ever goes to TNA, I guess he has his first feud lined up…
