Well, through cosmic actions the good guys have thwarted the threat.
There is now one super Watcher in the form of Uatu.
He can watch no more, but in this case he will rectify.
He “fixed” what the Watchers had done before known time and what the Reckoning did in response.
Mister Fantastic no longer is being consumed by the cosmic knowledge which irritates his brother-in-law the Human Torch who hoped for a cure for what ails him which was in Mister Fantastic’s grasp earlier.
A future disaster like the Reckoning War will be prevented in part by the Cormorant.
The Fantastic Four go through the Forever gate and reunite with their rest of their family.
The kids are now safe and can, hopefully, just be kids again.
The Watcher actually fixes the moon to add a bow on the Reckoning War saga as well as sets up Nick Fury Sr. well for his work ahead.
The book ends with an jealous Doctor Doom wanting his own Forever Gate?!
