PWI’s Mike Johnson is reporting that Vince McMahon made the call to give Tommy Dreamer a nice sendoff on last night’s ECW, as a way to thank Dreamer for everything he did for the company. As Dreamer returned to the locker room after his match with Zack Ryder and farewell speech, he was greeted by most of the roster who were waiting for him.
WWE.com has a video of Dreamer’s emotional speech here. They also put up clips from Dreamer’s first ECW title win from 2000, when he beat Taz (Who was already working for WWE at the time), after Mike Awesome jumped to WCW with the title. This match has never been seen before.
