With even Rip Hunter under the effect of Max Lord’s mind mojo, Booster goes back in time to the JLI days to get evidence of Max’s existence. Of course, he does not fool J’onn for longer then three seconds while dressed as his past self. After a humorous back and forth, that even pulls in Guy Gardner and the Booster of that time, Boost finds himself reliving the sins of his own past with the Canary before bumping into Max.
Booster faces a crisis of conscience as he’s reminded about how Max used to be, how they were friends, but he quickly gets back to work and secures a video tape that would prove Max’s existence.
Unfortunately, the tape does not make the trip back to the future with him as it had a direct impact on events that had yet to occur. So Booster…..winds up with nothing.
