It has been announced at short notice that UFC President Dana White will be making a major announcement via conference call on Thursday. The timing of the announcement has fuelled speculation about the UFC finally making its network television debut, speculation that was intially sparked by White’s comments to Broadcast and Cable that he was in the ‘middle’ of putting together a deal and that he expected the UFC to be on a major network in 2011. However its worth remembering that previous major announcements by the UFC have sometimes tended to be important but quite operational changes in the Zuffa management structure. Whatever the content of the announcement Inside Fights will bring it to you live on Thursday.
