FOX doesn’t have as many holes to fill as NBC. Mainly because it doesn’t have any original programming on during the 10 p.m. ET timeslot. But it still sends out 6 new shows this season that it hopes will be loved by viewers and maybe pave way for them to start airing original programming in that 10 p.m. hour. Besides the 2 new animated shows, 2 new comedies, and 2 new dramas that are currently on the lineup, Glee will take an extended Spring hiatus just like it did this year. In its place, two other new comedies Family Album, starring Glee’s Mike O’Malley and Little in Common, starring Rob Corddry, will likely take its place. Of course, they have a handful of shows to fill other holes as necessary.
In addition, 24 star Kiefer Sutherland will also be returning to FOX with new series Touch, which centers on the relationship between a single father and his 11-year-old son with special needs. Their relationship and their lives take an extraordinary turn when the gifted son begins to make connections in his life and around the world. However, production on Touch doesn’t begin until June, so who knows when and where that show will air.
Don’t be expecting The Chicago Code, Lie to Me, Breaking In, Traffic Light, Human Target to be on FOX any time next season, though, because they have ALL been cancelled!
