So, this is building to something. The Bound for Glory series was building to something. TNA having nothing but old guys on top for years, dominated by Angle was building to something. You know what it was building to? Bound for Glory where Robert Roode takes the torch for the company. People complain when WWE, at Wrestlemania, doesn’t end storylines, but instead builds them for later. WWE can get away with it. They have a rabid, satisfied fanbase. Your fanbase thinks you can’t end a story in a satisfying fashion. The solution is to then… utterly fail to end the biggest storyline in a satisfying fashion. Great work. This is building to something. Sure. Just like 1997. But what do I know. I’m just a mark.
