Bubba McDaniel vs. Gilbert Smith

ROUND 1- They come out exchanging. Smith with a leg kick. They trade and McDaniel pushes Smith up against the cage. Smith with a knee. McDaniel with body punches. They separate and Smith gets it to the ground and is looking to break guard. They battle back to the feet but Smith gets it back down. Smith looking to break guard but McDaniel has a good hold of him. McDaniel looking for a triangle but Smith is peppering him with punches. McDaniel with his back against the cage trying to get it up but Smith has a good grasp. McDaniel reigns down with punches from the top and they get back to the feet. Smith looking to get it back down. McDaniel has a guillotine locked in but Smith fights out of it and McDaniel ends on top and lands some elbows. McDaniel looks at the clock as he has side control. McDaniel continues to reign down elbows. McDaniel takes Smith’s back and throws some pucnhes and hits a knee to the body as the round ends. 10-9 McDaniel.

ROUND 2- They come out to start and McDaniel lands some kicks and rocks Smith with some punches. Smith misses on some lefts but connects with a right hand and pushes McDaniel against the cage. Smith looking to score a takedown as they’re tied up. They switch and McDaniel has Smith against the cage.  McDaniel has Smith’s back and lands a knee to the thigh. Smith looking for the takedown but McDaniel shakes it off. McDaniel with some punches to the body as Smith tries to land the takedown. They break and Smith misses a big right hand. McDaniel counters with leg kicks. They each land punches. McDaniel looks for the takedown but Smith blocks it and is looking for the guillotine. He has it tight. McDaniel is surviving and escapes into side control. McDaniel on top and landing punches to Smith’s head. McDaniel trying to get Smith’s back and is throwing down punches. McDaniel has Smith’s back but Smith rolls out and McDaniel now has side control. Smith looking very tired on the bottom as we have a minute left in the round. McDaniel in half-guard as a “Bubba” chant breaks out. Smith gets back to his feet and McDaniel lands a kick as they break. McDaniel tries a takedown but it is stuffed by Smith. McDaniel lands a big combo as the round ends. 10-9 McDaniel.

ROUND 3- Big reaction to start the round. Smith slips as he lands some punches. McDaniel tags Smith with some punches. Smith fires back. Smith goes for a takedown but it’s stuffed and McDaniel ends on top. McDaniel throwing punches in half-guard. McDaniel controlling from the top easily. Smith trying to get it back up but can’t break the hold of McDaniel. Both men get to their knees and McDaniel takes the back of Smith. Smith looking to roll out as McDaniel looks to get the hooks in. McDaniel has one hook in and is trying to find that rear-naked choke. Smith rolls out and ends on top of McDaniel. McDaniel looking for the triangle choke and he has it. Smith taps out and McDaniel gets the submission win.

Travis Browne vs. Gabriel Gonzaga

ROUND 1- Heavyweights in action as Gonzaga quickly looks to take it down to the ground. They’re clinched against the cage and Browne has his back against it as Gonzaga tries to get it down. Gonzaga drops down to try a takedown and he can’t get it. Browne a huge elbow that drops Gonzaga and lands two more and finishes it quickly. Gonzaga is down and out.

Miesha Tate vs. Cat Zingano

ROUND 1- The second women’s fight in UFC history gets underway  with a clinch and Tate gets it to the ground for a moment. They are battling for position and Tate has a front headlock. Zingano pushes her against the cage but Tate holds on. Against the cage and now Zingano has a front headlock and a guillotine choke locked in. Tate separates it by dropping to her knees to break it up. They are exchannging and Tate rocks Zingano. Tate with a takedown and into half-guard. Zingano switches and she is on top now. Tate throws her legs up for separation but can’t get it. Zingano breaks and it’s back to the feet and they are throwing bombs. Tate with some hard punches. Zingano grabs the front headlock again and lands some knees to Tate. Zingano with a big left hand that forces Tate to look for the takedown, which she gets. Tate looking to move from half-guard into side control. Tate throws down some elbows. Tate throws some more elbows which has Zingano in brief trouble. Tate looking to set up an arm-triangle but can’t get it.  Tate throws down another set of elbows as the round concludes. Exciting round. 10-9 Tate.

ROUND 2- Big shots to ppen the round as Tate looks to score a takedown. Tate in side control landing some elbows and small punches to the body of Zingano. Tate in half-guard looking to move into side control but the fence is in the way. Tate with some more hard elbows and she starts to pound away at Zingano. Tate grabs an arm and is looking for the armbar but Zingano is fighting it off. Zingano escapes and Tate grabs her to keep her down. Tate starts to unload again with ground-and-pound as she moves into side control. Tate looking to get that arm trapped again. They roll and now Zingano is on top as Tate has grasp of her leg. Tate looking for a leg lock but Zingano is in a good position to fight it off. Zingano looking to land a punch but they are stalling. Zingano with some elbows to Tate’s leg. Tate looking for a heel hook but Zingano shrugging it off. Zingano spins out and is now on top of Tate. Zingano throwing some elbows and punches on Tate. Zingano hurts Tate with more punches. Zingano throws some more but Tate is doing a good job of covering up. Back to the feet and they trade to end the round. Another exciting round. 10-9 Tate.

ROUND 3- Huge reaction from the crowd to start the round. Zingano with a hard punch to start. Zingano misses a kick and goes to the ground but gets up. Zingano with a takedown and she has Tate on her back. Tate looking to get out of a bad position as Zingano looks to posture up. Zingano throws some punches down on Tate. Tate tries to hold on as both ladies are tired. Tate gets it back to the knees but Zingano has a front headlock which forces Tate back to her back. Zingano takes Tate’s back and is throwing punches before getting to her side. Zingano with some big ground-and-pound on Tate. Tate trying to survive but Zingano is pouring it on. Tate back to the feet for a moment but eats a shot. Back to the feet and Zingano lands some knees and knocks Tate down with a huge elbow. Kim Winslow runs in to stop the fight giving Zingano the big win. Tate is very unhappy about the stoppage.

Uriah Hall vs. Kelvin Gastelum

ROUND 1- The finals of “The Ultimate Fighter” are underway. They circle to start off as Gastelum is looking to land a left hand while Hall remains calm. Gastelum has Hall against the cage and lands some knees. Gastelum working for the takedown but Hall is holding him in position. Hall trying to push Gastelum away and they separate. Hall with a front kick and Gastelum responds with a kick of his own. Gastelum trying to get fancy but Hall sees it. Big “Kelvin” chant erupts. Gastelum swings at Hall but they all miss. Gastelum hits Hall and has him in trouble. Gastelum swinging away but Hall recovers. Gastelum lands a big left hand and takes Hall down. Gastelum looking to mount and reign down punches. Hall eating shots and is having trouble getting up. Gastelum working to side control. Hall holding on to Gastelum. Gastelum keeps Hall on his back as Hall looks to fight from bottom. Hall trying to separate them but Gastelum keeps postured. Hall uses the cage to get back to his feet but Gastelum lands coming off the break. Hall with a right hand that pushes Gastelum back. Hall with a running takedown with ten seconds to go and the round ends. 10-9 Gastelum.

ROUND 2- They fire off to start. Hall looking calm as Gastelum tries to be aggressive. Hall landing some punches and kicks and ends with a spin kick. Hall backs up against the cage which gives Gastelum a chance for a takedown, which he gets. Gastelum on top trying to cause separation between the two. Big “Kelvin” chants going on again. Gastelum with an elbow to Hall. Hall looking for a sweep but Gatselum maintains composure. Hall switches it and now he is on top with Gastelum against the cage. Hall lands knees and kicks to Gastelum and is pouring it on. Gastelum goes for a takedown but misses it. Gastelum with Hall against the cage. Hall trips Gastelum up and gets the takedown. Hall with punches to Gastelum.Hall looking to possibly set up an arm-triangle choke. Hall trying to improve position. Hall starts to take Gastelum’s back. Hall with knees to the body and then a huge slam. Gastelum gets right back up and pushes Hall against the cage. Gastelum with body shots. They end with a break off the clinch. 10-9 Hall.

ROUND 3- This could decide the fight. Gastelum charges at Hall and tries something fancy that ends with Hall accidentally landing a low blow. Hall with a switch head kick. Hall with another head kick that just misses. Gastelum backing Hall up around the Octagon. Gastelum looks for a takedown and gets Hall down but Hall gets right back up and takes Gastelum down and starts pouring on punches but Gastelum survives. Close to a finish there by Hall. Gastelum pushes Hall against the cage. Both men are tired. Hall tires to get it broken and it breaks. Gastelum misses on a left hand as Hall backs up. Hall lands a left jab. Gastelum lands a big left hand that backs Hall up. Hall returns fire with a kick to the body. Gastelum gets the takedown but Hall is looking for the arm. Gastelum throws punches from the top. Big crowd eruption to end the fight as both are swinging on the ground. The fight ends with Hall in an advantage position. Close round. 10-9 Gastelum.

Urijah Faber vs. Scott Jorgensen

ROUND 1- Here we go with five rounds in our main event. Big reaction for Faber coming out. Jorgensen starts with a leg kick but Faber backs him up. Jorgensen goes down in a slip and Faber gets a front headlock. Jorgensen gets out and puts Faber against the cage. Faber switches it and Jorgensen is against the cage. Jorgensen with a trip takedown and he is on top of Faber. Back to the feet and Jorgensen has the back of Faber. Faber with a unique takedown as he picks up Jorgensen’s leg and falls back. Faber now on top and is looking for a guillotine. They switch and Faber takes Jorgensen’s back before they break. Faber with a body punch. Faber unloads a combination on Jorgensen and briefly hurts him before it goes to the ground with Faber on Jorgensen’s back. Faber looking to lock in a rear-naked choke as he has hooks in on Jorgensen’s back. Faber with a big elbow to Jorgensen but it gets back to the feet. It goes back down with Faber having Jorgensen in a headlock. Faber sinks in a guillotine and they roll as Faber tries to tighten it. Jorgensen is able to escape though. Faber in Jorgensen’s half-guard and they switch to Faber having his back again. Faber still looking for the rear-naked choke as the round comes to a close. 10-9 Faber.

ROUND 2- Faber starts with a leg kick. Faber hits Jorgensen with a kick low as Jorgensen was rushing in. They trade leg kicks as they come out of a break in action. Jorgensen with a kick as Faber tries to tie-up but Jorgensen shakes it off. They continue to trade exchanges. Jorgensen tries a takedown but Faber reverses it as the briefly go to the ground. Back on the feet and Faber lands a front kick. Faber with a body punch following a Jorgensen kick. They clinch and Faber moves it against the cage. Jorgensen lands a kick as they break. Faber with another front kick. Faber grabs a takedown and works from top on the ground. Faber lands some body punches on the mat. Jorgensen looking for a kimura but they scramble to the feet. Faber lands a nice combination. Jorgensen responds with his own. Faber lands a big overhand right and they clinch up. Both battle for a takedown as they exchange position against the cage. They break and the round ends. 10-9 Faber.

ROUND 3- They trade to start the round. Jorgensen lands nicely on Faber and has Faber backing up in the Octagon. Faber with some ducking-and-weaving in the center of the cage. They exchange combinations and Faber lands a body punch. Faber misses with a switch front kick. They clinch and Jorgensen lands nicely on the break. Both land in close quarters as Faber fakes a takedown attempt. They work against the cage and Jorgensen has Faber against it. Jorgensen takes Faber’s back and lands some knees to the body. They break and Jorgensen lands an elbow. Faber with a front knee to the face and lands big off a combination. Faber goes for a takedown but Jorgensen shakes it off. Jorgensen has Faber’s back against the cage once again. Jorgensen lands a big elbow. Faber lands with a nice combo but Jorgensen fires back. Faber with a nice left hook. Jorgensen stumbles off a landed leg kick. Faber scores a big takedown at the end of the round that may have stolen it. 10-9 Faber.

ROUND 4- They fire off exchanges to start a crucial fourth round. Jorgensen lands a nice combo in short range and Faber has to respond. Faber throws Jorgensen to the ground for a moment but they’re back up. Faber goes for a takedown but Jorgensen shakes it off. They continue to trade and Faber lands a nice knee. Both land left hands at the same time. Jorgensen with a head kick. Faber scores a takedown as Jorgensen misses a punch. Faber quickly gets to Jorgensen’s back and locks in a rear-naked choke. Jorgensen taps out and Faber takes the submission win home in the night’s main event.
