WWE.com & WWEClassics.com released an article today listing the top 15 wrestling pay-per-views of all-time. Obviously this is just their opinion but some of the choices are… interesting. Here’s the list with the match or angle that stood out from the event:
#15 – Survivor Series 1995 (Bret Hart vs. Diesel in a No DQ Match for the WWF Championship.)
#14 – ECW Heat Wave 1998 (Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman & Spike Dudley vs. The Dudley Boyz – Buh Buh Ray, D-Von & Big Dick in a Street Fight.)
#13 – Backlash 2009 (John Cena vs Edge in a Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship where The Big Show chokeslammed Cena through one of the set spotlights.)
#12 – WCW Bash at the Beach 1996 (Sting, Lex Luger & Randy Savage vs. Kevin Nash & Scott Hall where Hulk Hogan turned heel and the NWO was formed.)
#11 – Extreme Rules 2012 (John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar in an Extreme Rules Match & CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho in a Street Fight for the WWE Championship.)
