J.J. Abrams showed off a spacecraft in a video from the set of Star Wars Episode VII, a vehicle he explained is the latest incarnation of the X-Wing.

The video shows Abrams and an orange uniformed pilot next to a large aircraft, with space dents and blue detailing.
Some fans have been quick to respond that the spaceship in the video is actually called the "Z-95 Headhunter". However, official Star Wars twitter has confirmed that it is in fact the new X-Wing:

The video is the second on set video that is part of the "Star Wars: Force for Change" charity drive. The first video showed off a new creature on the planet of Tatooine.
