Arrow‘s new season has changed the flavour of the series and increased the stakes for all of its characters.
Word is that some familiar faces might also be returning to Starling City.
TVLine is reporting that Katrina Law will reprise her role as Nyssa al-Ghul. You might remember her as Sara’s lover and the League of Assassins killer will not be happy about her ex’s death (although with that said, reasonable speculation would suggest that her father is the one to blame). TVLine recently spoke to Katie Cassidy who discussed Law’s return to the show.
“You will see [Nyssa go through] a wide range of emotions,” Cassidy said, “but ultimately, through the resentment and negativity, you’ll get a chance to see [her and Laurel] sort of come to understanding.”
In addition, for fans wondering if Ray Palmer will transform into Atom, the answer remains unclear at least according to showrunner Marc Guggenheim.
“Anything is possible,” Guggenheim said to TVLine. “My instinct is if Ray Palmer is going to shrink he’ll probably shrink on another show. With The Flash in existence, there’s no compelling reason for us to do superpowers on Arrow.” That said, the EP teases, “We have plans for Ray that don’t involve shrinking but are actually really cool.”
