WWC Pushing For The Induction Of One Of Their Legends At The 2016 WWE HOF Ceremony

Puerto Rico’s World Wrestling Council is campaigning via their official facebook page to include Miguel Perez into the 2016 WWE HOF class. Perez wrestled for the ancestor of WWWF/WWF:WWE, Capitol Wrestling Corporation were he, most notably, formed a tag team with Antonino Rocca. The two would capture the NWA Capitol World Tag Team Championship and regularly appeared at the Madison Square Garden. Perez would leave the promotion in 1963 and go on to have a successful singles career in WWC. Perez died of a massive heart attack in July 2005. He was 68.

The co-founder of WWC, Carlos Colon was inducted into the WWE HOF in 2014.
