Inside Pulse WWE Smackdown Live! Scorecard for 04.11.2017

News

It was a big edition of Smackdown Live! featuring the second half of the SUPERSTAR SHAKEUP. What did our crew rate the show?

Michael

I caught most, but not all of Smackdown Live! but I will give it a go anyway. AJ Styles is now the top contender for the United States title? Isn’t that a step down? I’ll enjoy the match with Kevin Owens though. Not having Ziggler getting kicked in the face by Nakamura was a mistake. It would have been perfect. We don’t need the slow build, we need Nakamura kicking people in the face. Speaking of which, anyone else get the feeling that Sami Zayn came over to SD to give Nakamura someone else to wrestle? I like Wyatt’s quote that he is the nagging conscience of a world given to moral monsters or something like that. Frankly, that could work as a campaign slogan in 2020. The main event was some fun triple threat craziness which I liked, even with Corbin’s involvement.
Rating: 8.0

I would have really preferred it KO & Sami stayed separated, but I guess they are destined to fight each other forever. Nakamura does nothing but interrupt, again…let’s see some action! My favorite part of the night was the Shining Stars hitting a Back Stabber Bomb, that alone should put them at the top of the Tag Division.

It appears that AJ Styles is officially a face, and the top face of Smackdown Live! no less.
