The Gifted stars Stephen Moyer in a highly-anticipated new series that depicts mutants coming to terms with who they are. The series is connected to X-Men and co-stars Amy Acker, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, and Percy Hynes White.
The series has already been receiving a lot of attention based on its premise and view on equality. While it is a show about mutants, it is also concentrates on the concept of acceptance making it particularly relevant today. Each episode feels like a movie and its fast-pace is what I enjoyed the most about it.
At CTV’s 2017 upfront presentation, I caught up with The Gifted‘s Stephen Moyer. We chatted about the concept of the series and how it is able to combine many supernatural elements while still remaining relatively family-friendly. We talked about how the actor plays a relatively normal character in this series versus the vampire he played on True Blood and if he preferred playing roles that feature him having superpowers.
