Marvel Comics Universe and Uncanny X-Men #18 Spoilers and Review follows.

Cover Is Misleading, But The Action Is Intense!

The book opens with a dramatis personae and…

…a storyline catch-up and creators’ credits page.

After Wolverine quits the team, the Uncanny X-Men confront the Marauders.

A battle ensues and the Marauders surrender claiming innocence; Chamber doesn’t agree…

…and barbeques them, but is attacked in their dying breathes.

The Uncanny X-Men travel back to their lair where…

…they’re attacked by Mister Sinister…

…and his clones who have a new trick…

…that Havok handles almost singlehandedly.

The book ends with Cyclops calling Mystique who is with the Hellfire Club’s new Black King Emma Frost who Scott Summers doesn’t remember for some reason.

The Pulse:

Lots of action and too many different storylines makes this book a bit confusing despite the decent art. 6 out of 10.
