The book opens with the usual one-page tease of things happening and to come.
We then see the villains fear Leviathan after some many criminal and super-powered government organizations have been decimated.
Superman fears for Lois Lane so has her working out of the Fortress of Solitude.
At the Daily Planet, reporter Robinson Goode is on the Event Leviathan story, but…
…no one knows she’s the villain Red Cloud. Plus, her and colleague have a picture of Lois Lane kissing Superman and worry that she’s cheating on her husband Clark Kent.
A source calls Goode whom she meets; that source reveals more about Event Leviathan and even the Invisible Mafia.
Well, Goode is affiliated with the Invisible Mafia and rats out her source to the head of said Mafia.
At the same time, that source…
…is confronted by Leviathan; will she be recruited or destroyed?
