Some of the history covered includes Avengers 1,000,000 BC with…

…a final page ending on James Howlett pre Wolverine.

The Pulse:

While I like the idea of exploring the history of the Marvel Universe to make it more clear and cohesive, I don’t like the fact that its just narration by Galactus. That storytelling method gets boring quickly. The annotations are a nice touch to end the issue, but its dense narrative. I think this may read well as encyclopedia of sorts when the whole limited series is collected, but I didn’t like the first issue at all. The pencils were bland, but the inking was sharp and the colors were vibrant. 3 out of 10.
