DC Comics Universe & Wonder Woman #750 Spoilers: How Does Milestone Issue End Its Year Of The Villain Arc With Legion Of Doom’s Cheetah?

Spoilers

DC Comics Universe and Wonder Woman #750 Spoilers follows.

How Does Milestone Issue End Its Year Of The Villain Arc…

…With Legion Of Doom’s Cheetah?

This is in addition to the timeline revelation involving the JSA revealed in another part of this historic issue (full spoilers here).

We open with a recap of what’s gone in the last several issues of Wonder Woman…

…the death and destruction at the hands of Cheetah and her dark gift of the godkiller sword.

The story includes her getting her magic lasso of truth back from Cheetah…

…with some bondage…

…recognizing Wonder Woman’s history as she tries to get Cheetah to submit.

Cheetah does and Wonder Woman gets her tiara back too, bit Cheetah grabs the godkiller sword and impales the Silencer as a distraction as she flees.

Wonder Woman pulls the sword out the Silencer and…

…decides that her path must be determined by her and not the gods; so she turns her back on Hera.

The book ends with Wonder Woman taking the godkiller sword to Themyscira, the home of the Amazons, for safe-keeping.

Wonder Woman also gets new “bracelets”; her mom’s repaired bracelets from the initial historic battle between the Amazons and Herakles (not Hercules).

Wonder Woman has a new lease on life until…

…she’s arrested?!

There are other stories in this extra-sized issue including one that includes a reference to Herakles and more bondage references.

Another story involves the classic looking Ares…

…now imprisoned on Themyscira; the same island with the godkiller sword.

There’s also a story involving the modern day Silver Swan…

…who appears to have her tech removed by the end of the story.

Here’s the list of stories and creators that worked on the issue.

Here’s some classic Who’s Who bios of Ares…

…Hercules Unbound…

…Herakles and…

…Silver Swan.

Next up is Wonder Woman #751 out on February 12, 2020.
