WWE Raw 4/6/20 Recap – Raw After Mania

Reviews, Top Story

Drew vs. Brock recap starts the show off. Asuka faces Liv Morgan and beats her fairly quickly with the Asuka lock after Liv avoids it when she’s trapped on the rope, but falls prey to it on the mat. Shayna-Becky recap leads to Shayna saying she’ll bring agony once again. Street Profits face Garza and Theory in a rematch for…some reason. Zelina breaks up a dive attempt by Montez, leading to a six-person tag with Zelina and Bianca Beliar being added to the mix. Thank God Zelina was already in her gear. Bianca makes a save for her husband – but only after doing her full intro, body and hair twirl and all. Bianca cuts a promo to the fans, but has Zelina behind her – which just looks odd. Bianca takes her out with the KOD and smacks her ass.

Apollo Crews returns to the main roster to face Aleister Black in an overly-long chinlock-filled match. Crews at least gets a superplex, but Black Mass spells the end. An Edge-Orton video package trims that down to a lean six years. Cedric and Ricochet face Lorcan and Burch. Neuralizer by Cedric leads to the detonation kick by Ricochet, now being called the recoil instead of the codebreaker and that ends it. KO cuts a promo on putting Seth through a table. And now after that, Seth comes out for a jobber squash and wins with the curb stomp. Nia Jax returns and Samoan drops Deonna Purrazzo before landing the 187 cradle DDT to end it. Carrillo wins a jobber squash with the Aztec press.

Charlotte cuts a promo about the man making the suit – and she’s proof that the woman makes the title. Drew comes out and wants competition. Big Show wants a shot and Drew says no – he just beat Brock. He isn’t fighting now and then Show calls him a hypocrite, so he puts the title on the line. They have the WM branding everywhere, so this was taped after the Brock match. Drew eats some clubbering offense before getting a slam. Catching chokeslam gets 2 for Show, but Drew ducks the KO punch and knocks him out with the claymore to win. This was short, but pretty good for a 50 year old Big Show.
